Rev Fr. Johnson Vazhappilly CMI is the Executive Director and CEO of Rajagiri Hospital for the last 7 years, one of finest of healthcare facilities and one among two JCI accredited Hospitals in the state of Kerala, India. Earlier, in Rajagiri Province, he had performed commendably as Secretary for Education, Secretary for Finance, Corporate Manager of Sacred Heart Corporate Education Agency, and a teacher in history for 14 years. He had delivered keynote lectures on invited podiums such as CII, KMA, TIECON, etc. He has been an active member of key national and international healthcare management forums.He has also taken training from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Indian Institute of Management Calcutta meant for healthcare executives. In his efforts to stay abreast of the challenges in the healthcare industry, Fr. Johnson recently completed a one year certificate course on Safety Quality Informatics and Leadership (SQIL) from Harvard Medical School, Boston.Under his leadership, within two years of the inauguration of Rajagiri Hospital, it won several awards and that includes, Kerala State Pollution Control Board Award 2017 for private hospitals in 500 +bed capacity category in June 2017, the Best Multispecialty Hospital in Kerala in National Quality Excellence Awards-Praxis Media, in January 2017, Nursing Excellence Awards 2017 from AHPI, Outstanding Concrete Structure Award of Kerala – under Commercial Building Category, September 2016, Hospica En Masse award for Excellence in Quality, Safety and Patient Care in September 2016,etc.
