Société Nouvelle Huilerie et Savonnerie SN Citec, Subsidiary of the GEOCOTON Group, is a Burkinabè private law company, created on November 1, 1995. It is the first industry in Burkina Faso operating in the oilseed sector, through the production oil, cottonseed meal and cottonseed-based livestock feed. The transformation of cottonseed, resulting from the cultivation of cotton by millions of peasants, constitutes an added value for the national economy of Burkina Faso. It also produces household soap using raw materials imported from the sub-region.
