Company Profile
The Special Economic Zone of Nkok created in 2012, is a multi-sector industrial park multisectoral industrial park born of the vision of the President of the Republic, Head of State, His Excellency Ali BONGO ONDIMBA. Its mission is to provide a framework conducive to the industrialization and diversification of of the national economy through Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) but also the creation but also the creation of employment and the transfer of skills. The result of a Strategic Public Private Partnership between the Gabonese government and Arise IIP, Nkok SEZ covers an area of 1,126 hectares of land dedicated to the transformation of the dedicated to the transformation of Gabon's natural resource potential. It is integrated with a commercial sub-zone, a residential sub-zone and its core, a multi-sector industrial park focused on wood processing, metallurgy agro-industry, pharmaceuticals, construction, chemicals and recycling. It is currently home to currently 86 factories. Nkok SEZ continues its development with currently 08 companies under construction and construction and several investors in negotiations to settle in this privileged zone. Currently, a loading dock that will connect the Nkok SEZ to the port of Owendo port of Owendo is under construction. More than 10 years after its inauguration, Nkok Special Economic Zone is the pride of Gabon. With its 21 nationalities of investors and its more than 2 billion dollars of foreign direct investment since its creation, it is the first industrial park in Central Africa, contributing to Gabon's position as one of the Gabon to the rank of first veneer producer in Africa and second in the world.
