Mrs Kalpna Adhikari was born in 1971 in Uttrakhand. She graduate from Jodhpur Technical University where she did her Bachelor of Engineering in 1994.
She has worked in marketing division in well-known reputed Companies in various sectors namely Power, Optical, Defence. She has vast experience of 27 years.
Now she is working with Star Wire (India) Limited as Deputy General Manager (Mktg) in Defence Division. She is handling Bullet Proof Security Products i.e. BP Jackets, BP Headgear, BP Morcha/Sentry Post, BP Observation Tower etc etc.

Since last 3 decades, Company have been in the field of manufacturing High Alloy Steels, Super Alloys and Stainless Steel for diversified engineering applications in shapes of forgings and rolled products, castings, etc. in semi & finish machined condition conforming to IS, BS, ASTM, DIN, GOST and other National and International specifications for Defence, Aviation & Space, Shipbuilders, Energy, and Other Engineering Sector Industries in India and abroad.
Apart from above, particularly to meet specific requirements of Defence/Ordnance Factories, Company are already manufacturing:
? Bullet Proof Products [Bullet Proof Jacket, Hand Shield, Full Body Shield, Bunker, Watch Tower, etc.], including services for bullet proofing of vehicles.
? Track Assembly of BMP Track and its spare components [Bolt, Clamp, Shoe, Rubberized Pin, Track Line, Guide], Torsion Bar.
? Steel for Light Field Gun, Aerospace Steel, Steel for Brahmos, Armour Steel, Gun Barrel Steel, Creep Resistant Steel, Shell Bar, etc.
? Road Wheel Assembly for BMP-II and T-90 Tanks (Under Development)
Company are already approved by DGQA for the manufacture of Armour Plate to Spec. JSS 9515-021:2014.
Our main plant is situated at a vantage point in Delhi-NCR, at Delhi-Mathura Road, Faridabad, nearly 30 KM away from Delhi metropolitan city with associated units located in radius of 15 KM, which are well equipped with all required facilities, like EAF (Electric Arc Furnace), VD (Vacuum Degassing), ESR Electro Slag Re-melting, VAR (Vacuum Arc Re-melting), Rolling Mill in different sizes and capacity), Hydraulic Press (12000 MT and 2200 MT capacity), heat treatment, machining and in-house testing, for which we have NABL approved Lab for chemical and mechanical testing with a separate R&D wing.
Being an ISO-9001/AS9100C, ISO-14001 and OHSAS-18001 certified company, we have always been quality conscious, inclined to implement rigorous quality system through-out all manufacturing process.
During this long journey Company have developed critical items and various new products as import substitutes for defence and power sector industries.
Company are also inclined to produce most of the items indigenously in our plants as import substitutes to reduce dependency and become Atma Nirbhar supporting “Make in India” concept of our Hon’ble Prime Minister.
As we think, it has become quite imperative for Defence Organisations as well to invite such manufacturers to contribute in this prestigious mission, so as to move our country to a better tomorrow.
