Melanie has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry in corporate and investment banking, developmental finance, export credit and project finance, specialised finance, as well as fund mobilisation, covering a broad base of clients and customer segments, across global jurisdictions. She has proven experience in deal origination structuring and execution. She leads cross-functional deal teams to structure and execute complex project and export finance solutions, with particulate expertise within the African Sovereign and private sector, working with an extensive African and Global investor network. She is responsible for the deployment of the Afreximbank Guarantee Programme (AFGAP), the Afreximbank Repack Programme, as well as leading their Country Export Programme, which is a comprehensive programme to assist member countries to develop and enhance their trade and export credit related activities.
