Ms. Deepali Agrawal joined the Bank in 1995 after completion of her Masters in Management Studies (Finance) from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. She is a Commerce graduate and has worked in different capacities at both the domestic and international offices of the Bank over the past twenty six years. Her former positions include heading the Western Region Representative Office and Singapore Representative Office. Having worked in diverse areas like Corporate Banking, Project Exports, Communication and Brand Management, Upliftment of Grassroots level artisans, Women empowerment and Skill development, Human Resources Management Group, she has successfully delivered organisation goals, set in domestic and international markets. She is currently she is heading the Special Situations Group/Corporate Communication Group of the Bank. Ms. Agrawal is a qualified assessor for the Confederation of Indian Industry -Exim Bank Award for Business Excellence, which was instituted with the aim of enhancing the competitiveness of Indian companies. As a Nominee Director she has been on the Board of few companies in diverse sectors. She has participated and contributed as a working group member at Government level committees related to policy development and road map development. Her key achievements include enhancing the Bank’s brand image and visibility besides the upliftment of the grassroot level artisans and women empowerment through ideating, conceptualizing and implementing new initiatives. She has also contributed majorly in building the asset base, increase in income and recoveries. During the pandemic, she exceptionally managed the manpower resources and ensured safety of all staff by proactively bringing in innovative measures and new initiatives.

EXPORT-IMPORT BANK OF INDIA - Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) was set up in 1982 by an Act of Parliament for financing, facilitating and promoting India’s foreign trade. It is the principal financial institution in the country for coordinating the working of institutions engaged in financing exports and imports and is fully owned by the Government of India. The Bank provides financial as well as value-added services to Indian exporters. Assistance is given to export-oriented units (EOUs) by way of term loans for setting up new production facilities, expansion/modernization or upgradation of existing facilities and for acquisition of production equipment or technology. The Bank lays special emphasis on extension of Lines of Credit (LOC) to overseas entities, national governments, regional financial institutions and commercial banks. The Bank extends Buyers’ credit and Suppliers’ credit to finance and promote India’s exports and also has a programme called the Buyer’s Credit under National Export Insurance Account (NEIA) to facilitate medium and long term exports from India. The Bank has a Marketing Advisory Services programme, to assist Indian companies in identification of prospective business partners, facilitating placement of final orders and also identification of opportunities for setting up projects or for acquisition of companies overseas. The service is provided on a success fee basis. The Bank supports the internationalisation endeavours of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and has also put in place a Technology and Innovation Enhancement and Infrastructure Development Fund to meet foreign currency capital requirements of Indian exporters, especially SMEs. Exim Bank supplements its financing programmes with a wide range of value-added information, advisory and support services, which enable exporters to evaluate international risks, tap export opportunities and improve competitiveness, thereby helping them in their globalisation efforts.
