Personal Profile
Honore KIETYETA is an international expert in economic intelligency with experience in mobilizing financing and investment support. He has held several senior positions in national and international financial institutions. Today, he is Managing Director of the Agency for Financing and Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises (AFP-SME). He contributes to create and reinforce viable and competitive SMEs in the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors. In his capacity as Chief Executive Officer of AFP-PME, he is also Coordinator of the 1st Burkinabè Public Incubator in the Agri-food Sector.
Company Profile
The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Handicrafts is to define and implement the Government of Burkina Faso's policy on trade, industry and promotion of handicrafts. To achieve its mission, the Ministry has several departments, including the Agency for Financing and Promotion of SMEs. In accordance with its specific statutes, the overall objective of AFP-PME is to contribute to the development of the private sector by supporting the promotion of an entrepreneurial dynamic and the emergence of a network of competitive small and medium-sized enterprises in Burkina Faso. In synergy with banks, financial institutions and all structures supporting SMEs, it offers 1) Innovative and diversified financial products in the form of medium and long-term Investment, operating credits and bonus funds; 2) non-financial products in the form of support for creation, training, information and business management and 3) business incubation services.
