Personal Profile
Ambrósio Adlfo Sitoe, he is an employee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications since 1997, graduated in Mathematics and Physics and postgraduate in Mathematics, currently serves as National Director of Logistics and Development of Private Sector of Transport. This Directorate is responsible for implementing the Strategy for the Integrated Development of the Transportation System in Mozambique, Approved by the Government of Mozambique through Resolution number 37/2009 of 30 June. (In short, he is responsible for the implementation of projects of the Transport and Communication Sector). He is also the coordinator of the Rehabilitation and Expansion project of the Port of Nacala, a project valued at about 350 Million dollars whose implementation started in 2014 and goes until 2022.

The Transport and Communications Sector represents an important area of economic activity in the country. The Minister’s responsibilities extend to all matters relating to all modes of transport and administration of pipeline and port facilities, and communications.
