An Engineering graduate from Jadavpur University and MBA from MDI Gurgaon, I have experience of over 35 years in NTPC Limited. I have worked at Talcher and Farakka Super thermal power plants of NTPC and for past twenty years have been working in business development department of NTPC Limited in Delhi. I have also served as MD of BIFPCL ( a 50:50 JV between NTPC and BPDB, a Govt of Bangladesh company) in Khulna for four years till 2017 end. I achieved USD 2Bn financial closure for the BIFPCL project in record time. I consider myself an avid reader and student for life

NTPC is a Government of India Enterprise, with a rich experience of more than 42 years in development, engineering and operation & maintenance of large power projects with multiple fuels like coal, gas and renewables etc. Today, with 52,946 MW of installed generation capacity (including around 900 MW from solar and 800 MW from hydro-power), NTPC is the largest electricity generating company in South Asia, meeting approx. 25% of India’s power needs and supplying around 500 MW to SAARC region.
