I am Deputy Director in the Debt and Aid Division of the the Ministry of Finance. I joined the Ministry in November 1989 and I posses a Master of Science Degree in Project Planning and Development, obtained at the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom in 1998. In Debt and Aid Division I am Head of Resource Mobilization Unit and am heavily involved in mobilizing various types of resources (ODA) from our donor or Development Partners. In addition, my unit coordinates and oversees implementation of various donor financed public sector projects.
The Debt and Aid Management Division (DAD) was created in the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Development in 1997 as the main agent of the Government with the mandate to manage the foreign aid and public debt portfolios. It comprises of four units (sections) namely: Resource Mobilization Unit, Planning and Information Unit, Disbursements and Debt Servicing Unit, and Development Assistance Coordination Unit.
